Deaccessioning is a healthy part of collections management procedure that helps the museum prioritize the objects that best tell our stories – the ones relevant to Lorain’s history! This auction is the culmination of careful evaluation, sensitivity, and care following LHS’s collections management policy. All funds raised from this auction go into a restricted fund for collections care.
